I have just gone mad on Amazon. I had a brainwave to order my favourite childhood books for the baby. But then I couldn't stop. So now I have items being despatched from around the globe. But with illustrations like this from the simply amazing Jeannie Baker's Grandfather.. How was I supposed to resist?
Love love this look from Lauren Moffat. I adore the flower in the hair trend. Been rocking it myself for weddings, but thinking of allowing it to creep into day to day.. glamourama.
I got my mad crush on Ione Skye after watching 'The Rachel Papers' on Aussie TV while I was babysitting. The parents turned back up from their night out before it was finished and it was YEARS before I got to see the end. I loved that movie. I loved Dexter Fletcher and I loved Jonathan Pryce, Bill Paterson and Lesley Sharp. I was madly in love with the idea of London, planning a life in a huge house with a tiled hallway and a kitchen that seemed neverending. I guess I had no concept of the cost of living like Charles Highway and Rachel Noyce, but I dreamed the dream. Ione Skye's home in Domino Mag inspires the same feelings. I could quite happily inhabit her life tomorrow. And just look at her baby!
I love fabric used in jewellry.. Paula Bianco does it just right. Ribbons, tulle and silk. One day when I go somewhere super-fancy, I'll be coming back to her.
Very nice indeed. One thing about pregnancy is it allows you to look at clothes longingly, but without that overwhelming guilt-want-must-have that tortures. I can't have this. It won't fit. But here I save it for my own viewing pleasure. Via A History Of Architecture
