I finally found a perfect striped top. H+M £7- I'd been looking for one ever since I saw Alexa Chung in this perfect example. Via Rebel ChicTom always says 'buy cheap, buy twice' so I did. I bought two. The look on his face suggested I'd misunderstood his meaning.
