I would like to be here...

i watched part of a programme last night about women hoarders.. people with 5 wardrobes full of jeans, endless items never worn..

and it makes me think..

i own way too much.

sandals

notebooks

jeans

my 3 most significant items of excess.

i long for a life of pared down simplicity, where i don't covet things..

i will take a load to the charity shop on sunday. that's a promise.

and i won't replace it with more.

i will not buy another sandal this summer.

that's a promise too.

my fingers are not crossed.

this house, is the embodiment of the simplicity i desire.

and yet, i know i will never, ever, ever.. live anywhere like it. damn.
